Google Unleashed Tool to Check Browser SizePosted by: Autumn Rivers on Jan 08, 2010 Tagged in: google

Have you ever wondered if people looked at your whole website? If you have important things to say, or even just mind-blowing jokes or pictures that you believe everyone should see, making your readers scroll could be the kiss of death for your site. Even if it isn't all that dramatic, it is still a nuisance that many people just don't want to deal with when cruising the Internet.
You already know that aspect ratio is something to think about when designing. Fortunately, our friends at Google might have helped everyone, as usual. They have proposed a solution for everyone from Arizona web design companies to people just trying to get their cat's personal webpage up and running. It is called Google Browser Size, and its task is to let you know just how much of your site people are seeing.
This tool places a transparent graph over the site in question to show which areas of the page nearly everyone can see, and which areas they might be missing. This can be of great assistance to most Arizona web design companies because it can help designers know where to put the most important information. If there is a "contact us" or "donate now" button, you don't want viewers to miss it because they didn't know there was anything else on the site, or didn't want to scroll.
Granted, you can currently merely adjust your screen resolution to find out how your site might look on the average computer screen, which is considered 1024 x 768. However, there is nothing wrong with more Google applications, especially when their aim is to help you find out how effective your website is.
Will you be using the Google Browser Size application to analyze your site?
